AI training for accounting firms
Help your team use AI assistants to save time on routine work, without putting client data or professional obligations at risk.
Productivity with guardrails
AI assistants can draft client emails, summarize long documents, explain new guidance, and clean up spreadsheets in seconds. They can also be confidently wrong, and whatever you type into them may be stored by the provider.
For tax preparers, there is an added layer: Section 7216 of the Internal Revenue Code restricts how preparers use and disclose tax return information. Before client data goes into any AI tool, your firm should know how that tool stores and uses what it receives.
Our training gives your team clear rules and practical habits, so AI becomes a help, not a liability.

AI questions
Should our firm ban AI tools?
Usually not. Staff will use them anyway. A short written policy, approved tools, and training let your team get the time savings while keeping client data protected.
Is it safe to paste client data into ChatGPT or Copilot?
It depends on the product, the plan, and its settings. Consumer versions may keep or use what you type. Business versions often offer stronger data protections. Until a tool is reviewed and approved for client data, treat it as public.
Do you train on specific tools?
We train on the general-purpose AI assistants firms are most likely to use, including those built into Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace, and tailor examples to your workflows.
AI products and their data terms change often. We review current settings with you during training. General information, not legal advice.
